ALEXANDRE ARRECHEA

Landscape and Hierarchies (2022) has been officially acquired by the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) as part of its permanent collection.

This work was originally commissioned and produced by ArtYard Center in 2022 and marks a pivotal moment in Arrecheas practice, an exploration of the delicate balance between individual and collective responsibility, and the ripple effects of human actions on both society and nature.

Curated by Gabriela Urtiaga, the work was later featured in Intersected Horizons (2023–2024), a mid-career survey at MOLAA, where it deeply resonated with audiences and led to this meaningful acquisition.
