The exhibition «Genealogies del territori» is structured as a journey through a landscape in transformation, bringing together the work of 60 artists whose studios were directly affected by the DANA storm. Far from being a narrative of the disaster, it presents itself as a threshold: a turning point from which the territory reveals itself in its complexity, as a stratification of memories, a sedimentation of experiences, and a network of material and cultural relationships.
The territory ceases to be a background landscape and asserts itself as an active structure. Earth, water, and sediments configure a living system where nature is not merely observed, but rather acts, overflows, and redefines the boundaries between the human and the environmental.
Through a plurality of languages, the exhibition proposes an itinerary that moves from the dreamlike to the material and from the physical to the spiritual, starting from a fragmented path with different discursive lines: Earth and Dream; Sediments of Memory; Landscape: A Way of Living; The Beauty We Can Still Endure; and Light and Silence.
