Watching and Waiting (Guardare e aspettare) is Martinez Celaya’s new solo exhibition at the Museo Marino Marini, Florence.

The exhibition, curated by Giorgio Verzotti, pays special attention to Martinez Celaya’s sculpture, almost in dialogue with Marino Marini’s work. Sculpture thus becomes a powerful medium through which Martínez Celaya explores very personal and intimate concepts that characterize the emotional journey of life, such as memory, loss, vulnerability, strength, ephemerality and hope.
