“Eva Berendes studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and completed an MA* Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art&Design in London. Since then, she has received numerous scholarships and was most recently awarded the Bonn Art Prize 2021.

Eva Berendes works in the field of painting in the expanded field of sculpture and art in public space. Her artistic methods question the boundaries of the medium of painting by creating new connections between painterly aspects and elements of architecture, urban infrastructure and everyday design.”

The exhibition takes place in the special exhibition rooms of the Lippisches Landesmuseum.
