Vertigogue at Kunsthalle Göppingen in Germany is the upcoming solo exhibition by Matthias Bitzer

The construct of reality and what we believe to be is a main theme for the artist, combined with the question of how we define our own reality. Matthias Bitzer designs installations in the room that specifically address the respective location and its peculiarities. He creates a network of his works and the surrounding architecture that challenges the viewer’s perception and completely redefines the space. Entering the exhibition space means encountering the various levels of his imaginary and lets the viewer experience them physically and mentally. The perception and the associated exploration between what really exists and the illusion is put to the test.
