For this years Noor Riad, Gregor Hildebrandt is presenting a site-specific VHS curtain using the artist’s characteristic “rip-off” technique.

More than 120 artworks will be showcased, the commissions respond to this year’s theme, The Bright Side of the Desert Moon,which explores the desert as a site of community and connection despite differences.

Curated by Jérome Sans (lead curator), Pedro Alonzo, Alaa Tarabzouni and Fahad Bin Naif (curators), the festival’s third edition will take place in public spaces located in five hubs across Riyadh: the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the JAX District, Salam Park, Wadi Namar and Wadi Hanifa.
