Balart will be part of Cromático, the new group exhibition at Art Center Dados Negros, Villanueva de los Infantes.

On May 6, 2023, Cromático will be inaugurated, a project of the Centro de Holografía y Artes Dados Negros in which eleven contemporary artists linked to chromatic art, born from the artistic styles of the first half of the 20th century -also known as “The historical avant-gardes”- that proposed a radical recreation of art that abandoned classical schemes, promoting a vibrant sense of the present and a huge desire to break with past styles.

These avant-garde movements advocated more an attitude towards art than an aesthetic one, abandoning the imitation of nature to focus on the language of shapes and colors, and opened an era full of experimentation with new ideas and artistic techniques.

Their proposals were so vigorous, their explosion so shocking and the evolution they motivated in the plastic arts so great, that more than a century later they are still the paradigm of innovative art.
